- 2 minutes read🚅 On my way to IBC - International Broadcasting Convention 2024. Reflecting on what happened since last year’s IBC. Leaving inflated expectations on AGI aside, it’s amazing to see how much progress we see in the adoption of (Gen)AI in M&E industry to improve end-user experience and drive successful monetisation of content, which eventually can translate in more and more-interesting content for end-users.
💡 Having that said, one of the key impact of the strong GenAI focus in the society was that - finally - “traditional AI got more and more adopted. Not every use case requires a frontier foundation model ;)
🎁 We have been coming a long way and it is amazing to see how much new and progressed things will be exhibited and live demoed at the AWS Booth at IBC(RAI Amsterdam, Hall 5, Stand 5.C90). You can get a glimpse here, but if you are around - make sure that you pass by!

🔎 I’m equally excited to see what others build, how others approached their customers use cases. Hence, for sure will spent quite some time in the AWS and NVIDIA Innovation Village lounge(https://show.ibc.org/aws-nvidia-innovation-village ). Are you at IBC and brought something exciting with you? Let me know, so that I can have a look :)
🤝 In any case - don’t hesitate to reach out for a meeting!
