Traveling at light speed with open eyes is awesome, but sometimes you should look back…
On my way back from the Alps, I spent quality time with colleagues and partners from the Media & Entertainment industry at our Munich offices. It was eye-opening to see how rapidly the industry is adopting cloud technology and the massive transformation underway—delivering significantly more value and improved experiences for viewers and users. Thanks to Christopher for the invitation!
Clemens opened the day with fascinating insights into the M&E industry, setting a positive foundation with encouraging outlooks 😀 .
We also explored GenAI. Interestingly, I presented on this exact topic 448 days ago at last year’s event. Revisiting that presentation while preparing current content made me realize we’re not just moving fast—which I feel daily—but taking time to look back and comprehend the distance traveled reveals how much the industry has already achieved. We’re still accelerating. Exciting times!
My main focus was AI agents and Agentic AI for Media & Entertainment. I’m thrilled about the Amazon Bedrock Core announcements Swami presented later that day at our New York Summit, which will further simplify agent development: https://lnkd.in/exp_NMR3
Content-wise, I covered many topics, including the newly launched Kiro(https://kiro.dev/) product and its impact on: 1) accelerating ideation to prototype phases, and 2) enabling smoother transitions into production. I used an example I posted about earlier (https://lnkd.in/exSBiz9a I haven’t had time to develop it further yet.
