π 2024, the year when Generative AI is hitting production. Strong statement, but how? And what is next?
π This week is a little quiet in terms of traveling for me. Great time to reflect on what happened recently and prepare for the - very exciting - week ahead.
π In order to make it to production, one first needs a vision for the product to be build. Generative AI might, or might not be part of the solution. These days Generative AI often is one of many building blocks for a solutions. Here itβs important to get on a whiteboard, define the product to be build and then carefully explore the solutions space. Always great if customer invites us to do that jointly. This is where magic happens - like last week. Matias Undurraga Breitling did a short write-up of this at [1].β¨β¨
ποΈ But then when you have the solution sketch, the real fun starts. You want to iterate quickly to validate both your product idea and the solution sketch. Hackathons provide an amazing opportunity to do both at the same time. I love to join those events and support teams to come up with ideas and solutions. Itβs also a great learning opportunity for me and provides very valuable feedback on how customers are using AWS services and where are possible pain-points. Hence I was glad that Ian Thumann and Team invited me to be part of the AWS onsite team - loads of great insights and motivations from this: [2]
π Some of this will make it into the talks Iβm preparing for next week. I will be speaking at the amazing, unfortunately already at capacity, AWS Deep Dive Days - Generative AI([3]) and MEDIENTAGE MΓNCHEN([4]) events next week in Munich. More details on this to follow.
