🤯 I’m just on my way back from OMR. What a huge and colourful event. At Amazon we love to work backwards from our customers. For my visit the intention was to dive deeper and learn more about our customers’ customers. Predominately we work directly with adtech/martech companies/teams as we provide primitives to build solutions for their customers. OMR gave me a great insight to the wider ecosystem. On the way out of Hamburg I was thinking about a single line take away, but there was so much to digest, so that I need more time for this.
🎬 I have been in many inspiring and interesting talks. One which sticks to my mind is he talk “How conversational and generative AI are revolutionising customer relationship”. Selin Güven and Sebastian Glock gave deep insights into the value of conversational AI and real-world use cases. I love see more of those being implemented to ease my personal life and also took a lot of motivation for my upcoming talk in next week’s #AWSSummit in Berlin, where Philipp Schmid and I talk about how to build a conversational agent in a cost-effective manner. We will introduce the ingredients including Hugging Face, Llama (2 and 3), Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Inferentia and Amazon Trainium, … and show the recipe while building in a demo. 🏃♀️ Kudos to Ilka Groenewold and Ulrich Irnich, who put “Mens sana in corpore sano” to action and motivated me and others to start the 2nd OMR day healthy and energetic - the joined morning run was good fun :)
🤗 Last but not least I had a good time with my colleagues Kerstin Kriha, Linda Uri, Philipp Schmidt and Tobias Matern. Can’t wait to consolidate all the different experiences and impressions.
