Right now calming down a little in our Berlin offices. It has been a very intensive week including two fully packed days drinking from the firehose during the AWS Deep Dive Days 2024 - Generative AI (https://lnkd.in/eueY28Qh). Note that the following is just my personal reflection of the event and by far not a complete list of everyone and everything :)

Customer Talks: Jens and Christian took us on their journey of using GenAI to optimize workload towards compliance with the Well-Architected Framework. Christian and Tobias provided us with valuable lessons learned while building genAI applications. Tim dived deep into their experience of creating fantastic results by fine-tuning smaller models instead going for the biggest available.

AWS Talks: Big kudos to Mariano who took us to a beautiful arranged rendezvous with LoRA to get some intimate insights and intuition on how LoRA finetuning works.  Slavik’s keynote to better differentiate between hype and reality. I love his call out to move from PoC to Production in 2024. And this was just the tip of the iceberg - I took away so many ideas and insights.  Philipp, Bishesh and I were providing our talks to very active audiences. I loved the questions and discussions. The feedback shows that it has been well received and we got good pointers for further improvement - yes, the Soft Prompt thingy has been a little bit hard to absorb. Working on it!

🏆 Another big shout out to the organisation team(Mariano, Constantin, Karsten, Martina, Stephan & Johannes) who create a beautiful & peculiar event. Last but not least thank you for everyone not yet mentioned. Every single of you made it a special event! And now go Build - for production!
