๐ค Creating your own avatarโnot just a still picture but also generating an on-demand, real-time video avatarโis no longer science fiction. It’s reality and is becoming increasingly mainstream.
โ๏ธ New technology always comes with challenges and responsibilities. Challenges to understand how to use it, grasp what’s possible, and recognize the limits. Responsibilities involve using the technology in a responsible fashion.
๐ฌ This weekend I watched another part of the Star Wars saga. Jedi use holographic technology for communication, providing them with a convenient way to communicate long-distance and discuss/decide in hybrid setups. Yet they still travel extensively, and you can see them bond when in the same locationโactually making efforts to travel for this purpose.

Let’s start the week with a fascinating philosophical question, shall we? Easy start in the week ๐
๐ During this autumn weekend in Germany, I’ve had plenty of time for deep diving into research. My reading of “The Multiple Paths to Multiple Life” by Christopher P. Kempes and David C. Krakauer was inspired by another captivating episode of the Machine Learning Street Talk (MLST) podcast.

โจ Today I had the pleasure of joining the AI Product Leaders Symposium! The event featured inspiring lightning talks from AWS experts and industry innovators who shared real-world applications of generative and agentic AI. Sessions delved into enterprise adoption strategies, architectural best practices, and the measurable business impact of AI-driven decision systems.
Do you struggle on how to generate business value from AI?
Do you struggle on how to generate business value from AI?
This is a good start of an use case collection. Peaking behind the curtain on how they use AI in their own business. OpenAI describes the use case, results they achieved and what they found to be key for success like constantly redefining what is good and use feedback.
This is not copy and paste. You need to build your own for you own business. But these are great starters.

I was listening to Machine Learning Street Talk (MLST) “The Real Reason Huge AI Models Actually Work” [1]. Many interesting take-aways, a lot to still be digested by me. But really this stuck to my mind.
In AI research, a fascinating concept has emerged: โ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ.โ The idea is that intelligence can be measured by how well a system compresses informationโfinding patterns and structures to represent data in fewer bits. This ability to simplify and predict effectively showcases understanding and problem-solving skills.

Dianaโs post below has this interesting take. One argument in tech adoption is always does it frees human resources for higher value tasks. Just stepping out of a subway with everyone swippping their phones Iโm not sure anymore. Heading to my brain gym - aka office โฆ

Just finished “The Thinking Machine” by Stephen Witt [1]โ a fascinating deep dive into Jensen Huang’s journey transforming Nvidia from a gaming chip company to the backbone of today’s AI revolution.
What captivated me wasn’t just the tech evolution, but the strategic insights that apply far beyond semiconductors. Here are three quotes that stood out:
