โOur AWS Trainium chips, designed in-house for AI workloads, now power more than 50% of Amazon Bedrock token usage. In practice, that means most of the generative AI responses you see from models on Bedrock are running on Trainium. That’s a big deal for customers: faster results, lower costs, and more efficient scaling as demands grows.โ - this is impressive. Having the flexibility to - in this case chose between different compute options - is great, but making use of the choice consequently makes a real difference ..

AWS RTB Fabric is a newly announced fully managed AWS service designed specifically for real-time bidding workloads in advertising technology. It provides AdTech companies a dedicated, high-performance private network with single-digit millisecond latency and up to 80% lower networking costs compared to traditional cloud connections. This service eliminates the need for costly colocation infrastructure or long-term commitments.
So happy to see this unfolding!

In the last couple of weeks we had a lot of announcements around enabling payment for agents. The pocket money moment for AI Agents. But how are agents doing right now in a virtual grocery store?
Super insights by Thorben. I love the level of details. I found in particular interesting if and how product recommendations can influence shopping agents.
As I mentioned before, I’m currently thinking and composing my thoughts around advertising in the age of AI Agents. So maybe recommendations for agents can be seen as some sort of monetization options. More about this in my upcoming blog post!

The phrase “Software is eating the world” was coined by tech investor Marc Andreessen in a 2011 Wall Street Journal article to describe how software was disrupting and taking over every industry, a prediction that has proven true with the rise of tech giants and digital transformation across the globe
Today AI Agents are disrupting a lot of aspects of our life, including how we build, use and what we can achieve with software. So what is the future of software?
